Thanks to everyone that has preregistered for the Delta Fair Show. If you haven't yet preregistered the dead line is August 31st. You will recieve a free ticket to get into to the fair where the show will be held. Remember late entries (the day of the show) are double. So get those entries in before time runs out. Thanks Timothy

I'll be there. Don't know who I'm bringing yet but i'll be there with something feathered and fluffy. lol With the way my babies have been misbehaving who knows. If they aren't broody, molting somebody is getting assulted by one of their neighbors that is roaming the yard.
It'll be good to see everybody

I sure hope all this rain don't get my babies all dirty again. I hope everybody made it thru the storms today. We had a close call but it turned and missed us. I haven't heard if there was any damage anywhere yet. My weather radio has been going off every 30 minutes or so tonight. It went off every couple of minutes earlier. I'm one of those that is scared of storms, bad ones anyway. We must get a storm shelter. If it wasn't for having 2 kids to keep safe I probably wouldn't be as scared.

I got my birds on display at the germantown show friday night and set up some cages. The storms were rolling in one after another and the tent held up so i hope they wont look like drowned rats by the end of the week. The show tent is small but i think it will work. Keep those enteries coming in. i have waived the late fee for the next two days. So now is the time.

Thats a good question. I was wondering the same thing. Last year we could drive right up to the building. We did have to pay to get in though. And if we wanted to attend the fair we had to pay to get into that too. It would be nice if we could just pay one price to park and attend the show.
Tim - I may bring one of my sizzle hens. I won't drive you nuts like I did last time. If I bring her i'll just enter her when I get there. I do have a request though. Could my roos use one of your bigger cages? It's very hard to get them in and out of the door of the bantam cages. I can bring my double cage that is bantam size to use if we need it. I'll email you

Gleason FFA will be there! Hope you got our entries today. My administrator was so tickled about the kids getting so many awards at the Gibson county fair that she spot lighted us this afternoon at the school board meeting. Have any Sumatra or Phoenix birds been entered? I was hoping to see some.

Tim, I will have to make a cage for one entry. He will not fit through a normal large breed show cage opening. Unless you have a goose or turkey cage? Can't have him get loose either or the midway would panic!
