Is there any chance somebody can video tape the Seminar? I would love to get a copy if possible. I won't be able to make both Seminar and show/swap. Too far of a drive to do 2 days in a row.

Well folks, I don't think i'll be attending after all. My brakes are too bad to make the long trip. I was going to chance it but after today I'm afraid to. I hope we can get them fixed so I can attend but as it is right now I won't be able to. So if I don't make it i'll catch ya all as soon as I can.

Thats a good idea. I'm gonna bring some chicken related items to donate to raise money for the club saturday. Or they can be auctioned off. whatever Tim chooses to do with them. I do alot of trading and always try to get chicken related things. I was saving them for a Chickenstock but it don't look like we'll be having it this spring. We just aren't ready. It takes alot of planning. Looks like I'm gonna make it saturday after all. Bobby got the brakes and rotors for the back today. What a good guy he is.

Great! I'm coming for awhile. I don't have anything to show or really to sell. I put my 3 week old chicks out yesterday and something, most likely coons, killed 5. 3 were completely gone, one had it's head off and one died, probably because it was too scared to get in the shelter with the other ones. There was only one small place where they could have pulled them through. I think I fixed it and set a trap, using the dead babies as bait. I hate coons!

Sorry to hear about your babies. I keep mine in the grow pen till they are big enough a snake can't eat them. When they go in a pen their run is blocked off till I know they won't go out in it to sleep. We lost many birds that way. Especially Guinea. I used to love the wildlife but now they're a threat. Except for the plant eating critters. Now I see a stray dog or cat or wile animal in the yard I chase them away. If they come back and we see them they don't leave again. Or come back either. If it will eat an egg or chicken it is eliminated. Snakes and all. Snakes can really mess up egg sales. I had to make my quail cages out of the 1/2" wire mesh to keep snakes from eating them. I walked up to a quail cage to feed and water and there was a huge snake coiled up inside. I had 1 dead quail, 1 freaked out quail and one was missing and I suppose that was the lump inside of the snake. So now my quail cages are made with different wire.

Well, I didn't get it, but it did try to get in the trap. My trap is kind of small. Must have been a big rascal! It moved my cage about 8 feet, but did not get the bait.

We've decided to enter a few more. Gavin is entering a couple and I'm entering one of my new mixes. It's a bantam WC blue polish/blue frizzled silkie. They turned out pretty. I have a blue boy that i'm gonna bring for sale along with 2 very nice splash silkie pullets.

I am so ashamed of myself. I had my camera and failed to take any pics. Didn't even get any of mine. If anybody got any of mine would you please send them to me? I had the paint silkie roo that was on the corner, WC blue bantam roo, splash frizzled silkie/polish pullet and the partridge sizzle hen. I would love to see the bird that won Grand Champion. I spent more time on the sale side I didn't see all the show birds.
