I just got my new incubator the other day. I am sort of holding off a couple weeks b/c if they hatch well I need to know I have a place for them. I will be hatching Araucania, I really love to look at the pretty colors, and welsummers. I pray this goes well. I will say I am very nervous b/c of my previous bad experience. This is a different kind of bator so I will have my fingers crossed.

I have silkies hatching. The ones that went in the silkie pen yesterday are the ones I incubated. There are 7 new ones that the hens hatched out lately and there steady hatching out more. We're getting some beautiful colors. After I get home in 2 or 3 weeks i'll pick out the ones I want to keep and the rest will be for sale so you'll see some silkies for sale soon. Eggs too. There are some frizzled ones in the picture too. The roo up front, the black with white on his head and neck is the daddy to most of them. The partriges came from a pair. The 2 frizzled blue ones with the black heads came from eggs I got from somebody else. They've already been named so you know what that mean. Keepers! Attachments:

We have 7 out of 10 Rouen/Khaki Campbell babies with one more working to get out and two that look like they are not going to do anything. And some banty eggs in the other incubator on lockdown-nothing happening there yet, though.

I have a variety in my bators. Ameracauna's, ducks, b/b/s orphingtons, sermas langshan and Empordanesas, silkies. Some project eggs I got that are orphington and empordanesas crosses. There are a couple different oegb's but I can't remember what they are. I got all these eggs from egg swaps. None of them are from my birds. OH, I have jumbo brown quail also. The hatch dates start on the 17th and will be hatching thru the 21st.

Looks like we are going to have 8 ducklings. They are for sale if anyone in the Tipton Co. area wants one.
Still nothing from the chicken incubator, but I think 21 days is Wednesday, but since most are banty, we thought we'd at least have some pips by now.
Good luck cks4me! It's soooo much fun watching them hatch.
