I posted them when they where a day old. I seem to always forget my camera when I go to tend to the chickens. I'm so used to having the other camera that didn't work that well so I hardly used it. I need to get a pouch for it so I can put it in my egg collecting basket.

This is the young laced grey that will be for sale in the spring. A certain somebody's wife was really interested in getting some of these in the spring. Alot of people really like Noel that is another laced grey. I'm terrible with names but you know who you are. I'll have 3. This laced grey, a blue and a white one that has some dots near the ends of some of her feathers. She is really pretty but her feathers aren't as curled as the other two. I'll post a pic next of her. This is the white one with the black spots. She started out like she was going to be grey then the white started growing out. The previous one I thought was going to be another partridge or gold laced but she's looking like a laced grey. No telling what they will end up being once they go thru their first molt. I can't seem to get a pic of the blue one. She is really camera shy. Attachments:

Its Wes my wife is the one in love with your birds lol I like them to lol They're up for sale now. If ya'all definately want them i'll save them back for you. There are 3 girls and you'll want a silkie to breed them with if thats what you want to do. I've got silkies for sale too. I believe it's ok to put a silkie that caries the frizzle gene but it isn't visable with a frizzled partner. Somebody correct me if I'm wring. I do know that it's frowned on to put 2 frizzled birds together for breeding. The feathers get brittle and break off and are painful and uncomfortable for the bird. I always use a pure silkie. I'm gonna give oddball a Short visit with the sizzles to see what happened then move a silkie in the pen. Probably Fred the blue silkie. He's non-bearded. I've got several cockereals in the silkies I can choose any of them. I wonder what a white one would do. I'd probably get more white chicks out of pricilla and grey out of Elvis. I had better watch it or i'll have more birds around here than what I can handle. If ya'all can make it out soon and have a place for the sizzles just give me a call. I don't usually leave till thursdays and weekends are usually better for those that work. HMM sounds like i'm pressuring you. Sorry about that. I just got excited today when I put up an ad to sell the silkies and sizzles and got responses so fast and a referrell from the co-op. That is a sale. I also sold the last 2 batches of eggs today so i'm just excited. If anybody is interested in any of the silkies or sizzles give me a call on my cell. The house phone don't have voice mail and it's usually tied up with internet. 731-796-1534 I also have a pair of oegb's I know nothing about them except how to hatch and feed them. These two would make good pets also. They've been handled alot. The pullet thought she wanted to be evil but changed her mind since getting petted and cuddled is much more fun than getting pushed away. The boy is a lavender or splash. He's getting darker (red)feathers coming in here and there. Probably his MANLY feathers And the pullet is a black and white barred

The Ellis family has crossed over to the silkie we have one gray roo one black hen we would like your Gray sizzle hen but don't know when we could come down I was planning on holding on to the sizzles just for those on this site. If I still have them in the spring when I have my spring sale they will be sold. I have a blue, laced grey and a white one with dark dots on some feathers. The dot is near the end of the feather. Pretty cool looking but her feathers aren't fully upturned either. Kinda like a droopy perm .lol If we're both gonna make it to the meeting I can bring her along. She's still in the grow pen with a heat light. I spoil them too long. Just let me know when you want to come out. Thurdays i'm gone most of the day. Just give me a call 731-796-1534
