For Open Shows Early Mail-in entries wouldbe appreciated!
Early Entries must be received by August 20th2012 Entries must be signed, and then sent to Timothy Kuykendall, 329 Pleasant HillRoad, Humboldt TN 38343.
Open Poultry Show Registration Starts 5:00pm- 6:00pm. Judging starts at 6:30pm. Adult (17 years old and older) entry fee is$5 and $3 for any additional entries. Junior entry fee is $3 and $2 for anyadditional entries. No limits on entries per person.
Judging: Ribbons will begiven out for 1St, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category. A Rosette will begiven out for Show Champion. An animal can only be shown in one class. Animal Care:Exhibitors will be required to feed and water their own animals and bring theirown feed. All animals must be cared for by the exhibitor. This includesfeeding, watering, and cleaning beds and pens. Health Requirements:All birds will need to be NPIP tested and test negative for Pullorum-Typhoid. Acopy of your 2011 or 2012 NPIP F1ock Certificate, NPIP #, or Pullorum-Typhoidtesting report must be available.. We must have a copy to keep on file. We ask that yourbirds be healthy and parasite free. Testing of birds for the open show will beavailable at the show (call Kathey Moore 731-697-2167 to schedule testing of yourbird/s at home before the day of the show). Iftesting is to be done at the show please come early.
Injuryor Loss: Individualsin charge of the show, judges, or other individuals affiliated with ensuringshow guidelines are upheld. We will not be responsible for losses or injury topeople, birds, or equipment, in transit to/from, or during the show.
Parentswill be responsible to supervise children. Anyone who disturbs the birds willbe asked to leave without refunds. Birds may not be removed from the cages torun loose.

Tim - I got the paperwork in the mail today that you sent. Thank you. I'll get them filled out and back to you as soon as I narrow it down to who i'm taking. Some I wanted to bring are broody so they'll have to stay home. I'll have 6 for sure but may bring a few more. Not sure just yet. I do have the double show cage I can bring that would free up at least 2 places from the cages you got.

Sweet! I'm struggling also trying to pick out what to carry to show. I have a question for everyone. What do you think about having Tony Dedman judging the open show at the Gibson County Fair. To me he is more knowledgeable about the different breeds than me. I have been studying the various breeds the best i can but feel he would do better. Well I bought 91 new show cages so we should have enough. I'm excited and ready for the shows. YAY!!!! If you want to PM me about your opinions about Tony judging the show that will be fine too.
