I have seven eggs in a bator and candeled them last night and think only three are growing. I am so bummed. Bator is perfect so it must be the roo. I am wondering, and thinking, that the bad heat played a part in the lack of fertility. What do you guys think??

Heat is tough on fertility, but don't give up on the eggs. how far along are they? Sometimes I can't tell much until around day 10, when the baby is moving alot.

I put them in on the 31 so when I candled they were nine days.

Unless they are stinky or weeping, I say,"give an egg a chance!"

I have become a big believer in candling eggs it has saved my wasted time and space in my incubator. I have two full and use one for hatching this has worked good for me . I have chicks hatching every weekend for the next five weeks
