I think Travis had made several cages to sell at the swaps. He does nice work too. Since all our quail are in the freezer now I have a pile of cages but come spring i'll need them again.

Oh so jealous! I want a sun conure. They had one at the Petsmart in Memphis and I would play with it all the time. You'll have to post a picture sometime

I used to raise parakeets, cockatiels, doves zebra finches and senegal parrots. I hand fed the cockatiels and parrots so they would be super friendly. I sold the parakeets and cockatiels to pet stores up north. We moved back to tennessee and I had to sell them all. It would have been a load of just birds n cages. I kept the 1 senegal that I hand raised. He hatched on my birthday. He's still alive too but I had to give him up. Some relatives would come to visit while I was at work and tease him and made him mean to anybody but me. That means he would bite little fingers too so when the grandsons came along I gave him to a friend that still has him. He turned 25 years old this year in May.
