I just stopped in to unload some geese. There sure where alot of chicks for sale. I normally have alot of silkies this time of year but I managed to refrain from alot of hatching. I sold most of my eggs and only hatched what I want to add to my pens. I bought 4 splash silkies from Deb last saturday. She had gotten them from me when they where chicks and they sure turned out beautiful. I'm lucky to have gotten them back. I also got another porcelain pullet, a partridge pullet and 2 white pullets. Too bad the geese mutilated my other porcelain pullet. Gavin and I stopped at that safari/zoo on the way home. That place is just awsome. He about wet himself when a buck deer just walked up to the car. It was hilarious. I should have videoed it. lol When I got home I fixed the wire wall where the geese pulled the pullet thru and killed her so now nobody can get under it anymore. The reast of my juvies in the juvie pen are still traumatized. The cockerel won't let the girls out of the pen and he won't come out either. I tried to coax him out. He normally comes to me, he just stood in the door and clucked at me.
