Nice find! Most 'genetics' books I have seen were written with the assumption that the reader had a Phd in biology.

For the hard core breeders, there is F.B. Hutt's classic "Genetics of the Fowl" (McGraw Hill, 1949). The book has been out of print for decades, but internet used book sellers often have it for $70 to $100 per copy. The good news is that it can be browsed/read FREE here: chla.library.cornell.edu/cgi/t/text/text-idx?c=chla;idno=2837819 It is rather cumbersome to navigate via the web, but it is there for all to read. Enjoy!
