I have three suzies brewing up a batch of these things and the last thing that I need is another muscovy duck at this place. They lay like crazy and I have a feeling that for every suzie that is sitting in the barn there are two that are sitting down by the lake. I have a lot of the ducklings sold already and I have to fill those orders first. If any of you are interested just let me know and if I have any left over I will put you in the muscovy business! Websites sale them for 6, most ads sale for 3 but we are having a "West Tennessee Poultry Club Forum Blowout Sale" for the low low price of....................(are you ready for this?)............... 1.50!!! For every 10 ducklings that you buy I will throw in a free egg! It may be a peacock egg or a turkey egg but more likely it will be a chicken egg or some egg that I dug up in the woods somewhere but regardless you will get a free egg! Okay, I have to put down the coffee cup and get back to work............

SOLD!!! You have first dibs on the left overs oldaker! I will sign you up for 200 of them and start scrounging up some eggs in the woods tomorrow! You have just been introduced to the ugliest incubators ever created. They will try to hatch out golf balls if you give them half a chance!

Once they hatch out I will let you know what I have left over. Ironically, none of the people that want them have a color preference (at least not yet). I have full chocolate, black and I should get some blue ones this time so if you have a color preference let me know and I will try to save you as many of that color as I can.

Doing my part here Timbo, doing my part. What's really ironic about this is that my dad just called and told me that we have a gigantic turtle laying eggs behind the barn at the other place!

Hey I'm on board for turtles too lol. Actually I'd rather just see them be born. Well no, cause then I'd want to take them all home. About when do you think the ducks will hatch? I have a couple trips coming up in the near future. Don't want you to be stuck with them longer than neccesary. If need be though I'll sweet talk my dad into getting them for me. Umm I haven't really thought about colors. I have a few chocolates, blacks, and 1 lavender right now. Doesn't really matter to me. I'll check with Jerry and see if he has any preferences though.

The hens all staggered the time that they went broody. The first batch will be ready in about a week to ten days and the others should be 14 to 16 days from now. Dont worry about picking them up if its going to be a hassel for you oldaker, I like to keep them for a few days to make sure that they are all in good health anyways. I have yet (knock on wood) sold anything that died on people that bought from me. I'm not like the hatcheries because I believe that if money is swapped then people should get what they paid for and that goes for a dollar chick to a 25 dollar peachick. Let me know what color Jerry wants and we will try to get them for him. In all seriousness, I may end up with one extra duckling or twenty (I dont mess with the suzies when they are sitting) but I will tell you how many extras I have and let you guys decide on what you want.

No color preferences. He says they all get ugly no matter what. So yeah...

I would really like a dozen, but I can't travel to you anytime soon. Is there anyway anyone can get them to Parsons, I could meet someone there. I would even pay for the travel. Thanks, Julie
