I acquired a beautiful porcelain oeg banty hen this weekend with 15 little ones. We fixed the coop for her and she's happy. However she has managed to squish 3 of the young ones leaving me with 12. Do I need to take them out and hand raise them or leave them with her and hope she gets lighter of foot since this is her first clutch?

I would leave them. The hens do such a good job of teaching chicks what they need to know, but there is always a chance of squishing. if you take them away now, they may miss her and pile up on each other, which could cause some smothering to occur.

Ok, thanks. This is my first go round with a hen that actually has a clutch.

It probably got injured somehow. I wish I could offer help but I have no idea what to do. I would put it in a separate brooder with a buddy and wait to see how it does.
Maybe somebody that knows what to do will come along. Good luck I hope all goes well.
