Mike your pretty close to right its complicated to explain and i confuse myself when i think to long about it. I'm experimenting but basically your just creating a blue sex-link. but not all offspring will be blue it will throw a certain percentage of other colors one of which seems to throw a splash. I'm amazed at the colorations and still learning with Wyandottes. The jury is still out on the fertility. I would be curious to see if a blue sex-link(bluebell) and a white RIR could create a 25-50% lavender chick. that would be pretty. Okay i have thought too long, my brain hurts, and i am questioning myself so I'm just gonna shut up . Well anyone that have tried it or had any experience in it jump in. I'm open to any theory's. I have only produced F1's at this point.
