If anybody is interested in free Appaloosias (sp?), I found somebody in Blount County that has a bunch that they are looking for adoptees to take them home. Check 'em out here: www.horsehavenoftn.com/ (Home) www.horsehavenoftn.com/Appys.htm (Application+info/pics) EDITED: to add Home page URL

The story behind the apps is that the breeder died 6 years ago, and the wife has done nothing. They have free ranged (and continued breeding) on 100+ acres of pasture. I am certain that the site can give you more details.
Enjoy.

It's apparent they haven't been cared for. I was at least 2 probably have bad teeth or tooth because of sore jaw area's. I'll post this in a few other places to help get these horses rehomed. It lookes like they are in bad need of some TLC. I'll talk to the Hubby to see if maybe we can help with at least 1.

Blount is a fair drive from W TN, but where I first saw it posted, they were getting hits from MO, NY, and WI, MI. Transportation would certainly be easier from W TN.
The site claims that there are no adoption fees for these animals. Great opportunity if somebody wants/needs one (or more).

I posted this on another site that many people where going to pass it along on their face books and word of mouth. I wish I had a place to put one and a way to get it. I would love to get one for my grandson.
