Hello to all...Has anyone had any experience with their flock(s) eating the Nandina berries in the yard or giving them to eat in general? I know it can be somewhat poisonous to some animals but birds eat them and I was just curious in general. Any offerings of insight is welcome. And by the way...HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! Hmmm don't know. But if you want a good screen plant that they can eat the fruit- the Beauty Berry works nicely.
Anybody got mulberry trees?

I was just wondering is all. I know the cardinals and other winter birds eat them but did not know if in the "lean winter months" without other natural home grown or other garden refuse could one give them the berries of of the bushes in the yard. Just curious is all.
Thanks to all,
Mike
