Does any one have any ideas how to feed the chks and not the mice? My girls waste so much food even though I put the feeders in trash cans at night there is still enough food around to entice those disgusting yucky disease carrying rodents. Sure would appreciate some input. Thanks

Feed less and add a cat. But seriously, less feed and make sure feed containers are rodent resistant.

In all honest a cat helps... my husband won't let me have an outdoor cat because they kill song birds. Or that's at least what he tells me.

Can't have a cat although I would love to because my dogs love to kill cats. When I lived in Italy they had a field day, every day. So what is a rodent proof feed container? I put the feeders in galvanized steel every night it is the food they throw all over that calls the mice. Is there any feeders that cut down on their ability to throw the food? Tks
