This warmer weather has me thinking about gardens. Does anyone put one in and where do you get your seeds. Over the past few years,I have gotten seeds from various places and seem to have a problem with some seeds from everywhere. One year the green bean seeds did not do well( I re-planted with seeds bought elsewhere and had a bumper crop), One year I found out(too late of course) that my sweet corn seeds had accidently been cross polinated with field corn, so the corn was practically inedible, and last year I had a fungus investation, but that may have been the wet weather. I'm thinking of ordering seeds directly from a seed company. What are your thoughts?

I get all my seeds and plants from Farmers Co-op, in Halls Tn. My son used to run the seeder and bag all the different seeds into the proper bags for the co-op, after being checked for the right germination rate. I have always had good luck with their seeds and plants. Seed potatoes and onion sets also.

Mike, that's where I got the green beans from a couple of years ago. I talked to several people that had the same problem. Anyone ever use the Farmer's suply in Henderson?

I like to buy seeds during the end of season sales at Walmart, Lowes, wherever and save them for the next year. I also order lots of seeds from various companies for hard to find stuff, which the co-ops will never carry.
