That rooster I got from you that looked to be a calico. Do you remember who the parents to him are? What color are they? I have him in my sizzle pen right now. The 3 that are old enough to lay are a year old and are white with recessive black. I can't wait to see what they turn out to look like. I'm just curious what makes up his genetics. I may try to breed more like him.

Richie, they are really nice birds and you are doing a great job in raising them. If you are like me, I have a bad thing of making pets of all my birds. Hopefully you will have a tom and a hen. Then you will have lots more to sell next year maybe.

The sizzles started to lay again so I'll be getting some of his chicks now. Can't wait to see how they turn out. All my bators are full but I have ringneck pheasants hatching, then some silkies from another bloodline, then guinea and some bbs orphs then more silkies.
Then a little break and some Georgia Giant Bob Whites, JB cortunix and more guinea and pekin, indian runner and sweedish ducks.
(poor Bobby will never get done making pens) He just finished the duck pen with a little pond for them.
