I have a 2 month old pullet that was injured somehow. I discovered her sunday and she couldn't walk just flopped around. She's been getting pampered and spoiled but I can't feel any broken bones or dislocation anywhere. She is getting better. She can walk. She's very wobbly but she can move her legs and get where she wants to be. But she does this wobbly high step when she does walk. She is eating and drinking and has normal poops. I'm pretty sure she's enjoying the pampering. She's watching me type right now. lol Does anybody have any ideas as to what may have happened or what may be wrong. I know the info is vague but it's all I know. Her and 4 others her same age (hatch mates) are living in the sizzle pen with adults. Well, she's inside right now in a small brooder when she's not being held. Attachments:

It could be anything from jumping from too high or just twisting it. If she is improving and it sounds like she is I certainly would not put her out with others b/c they will know she is injuried and may attack her. Just watch her and when she is well reintegrate carefully so she does not reinjure. Sounds like she will be fine.

She's improving. I will keep her inside till she is recovered. The others her age are doing just fine. When I was collecting eggs today one of the little white ones got startled and Noel ran after her to protect her. when she saw she was ok she just turned around and went back to waht she was doing. lol

Well, she is back 100%. That was faster than I thought it would be. She was so happy to be back with her hatch mates too.

Thanks, I'm glad it wasn't something permanent.
