I"m changing this ad up a little because whats for sale has. lol
I've got the Grey silkie rooster and the red saddled sizzle cockerel I had at the sale still for sale. Those that where at the last swap saw them but i'll post pics. What I have new are some sizzle chicks and oegb chicks. I know there are 2 cockerels and 1 pullet in the oegb's but the sizzles I won't know till somebody crows or lays an egg which will be a while still. I do have 2 that are frizzled and so far every frizzled one has been girls. So there is a very good chance those 2 are. They are both starting out to have black feathers but that could change.
I'm asking $3.00 each for the 2 black frizzled ones and $2 each for the other chicks. Thats to members. Non members it's $5 for the frizzled ones and $3.00 for the other chicks.
The roosters I'm asking $40 for the grey and $30 for the sizzle with the red saddle to non members. The reason i'm asking so high is I want to make sure they will be taken care of. The grey is one of my first silkies and has been a great fella. He has many other qualities other than fertilizing eggs which he has done a great job of. Oddball the red saddled sizzle is just 7 months old but he's unique for his breed, in my opinion anyway. He's just starting to breed so he has that teenager attitude. That can be changed with some attention.
They are both too closely related to the hens to keep using them for breeders. If I had a Juvie pen I would keep MJ to look after chicks. He's great with that too. He's just a good all around rooster and well worth the full $40 but he's not SQ. There are some faults in that department.
If he don't sell soon he may just become the orp hens "Big Daddy". I think a silkied orp would be interesting but really not looking to create another project.
Around Easter i'll have alot of chicks. Or I hope I do. Most of those will be for sale also. There are EE, PR, GLP, silkies, sizzles, oegb and quail.
Ok. I've chatted long enough. I gotta get to my chores. My cell # is 731-796-1534 if interested in anything.
