Went home last night to find one hen trapped in a trellis and another one with an injured eye. She won't open it but I cleaned it off and put some ophthalmic antibiotic cream on it and brought her in so I could watch her and see if she is going to be blind. She is the sweetest bird I have ever had, a white orpington. I am hoping she isn't blind.

Blinkers (birds with one eye) can do very well.

I have one thats blind in one eye. She hatched that way. She has one side of her face that is deformed and no sinus cavity or it's deformed too. She does very well. I do have to keep her inside because the other chickens won't allow her in their pen but they free range with her. I"m sure you've seen her. I dyed her hot pink for easter last year. George the house chicken. She brooded a couple chicks even. Not hers of course but her sisters kids. lol
I hope your bird heals well with no infection or other problems.
