I'm looking for some Sussex eggs are chicks if anyone knows any one that has any would be grateful for any info.

Picked up 11 Saturday . People thought we where nuts for driving 145 min away for chicks . Lol if they only new yaw

The sussex are not as good a layer as the Rocks and Orps. There eggs are aver to smaller size. There personality is cute. They are very inquisitive and friendly.

Their coloring is very striking as well....I had one last year and sold her at one of our swaps...she laid a medium, pinkish-brown egg and was very good at laying almost every day. I only got rid of her because I was getting only one or two breeds for the most part for my backyard flock.
By the way, R&J Feed will have some SS chicks arriving on March 28th, in about a month now.
