I have the Nubians and they are really good dairy goats. I only have two 1 year old females. They arent old enough to beed yet(not until they are 2 years old). I hope to breed them when they are old enough. I love them they are very friendly and follow you around.

I've learned a little and know the lamancha and nubian are good for dairy, but isn't the myotonic the fainting goat? Would that matter?

I'd love to see pictures. Do either of you have an idea on price?

well the fainting goats dont actually faint they just tense up and fall over they can still eat and are completely aware of everything when this happens. I dont see any reason why it would matter that she has it in her. I would take 75 for her
and the nigerian i would take 125 for her. the nigerians have a high butterfat content which makes for good cheese and milk. i will post pics as soon as i can or i can text some too you if you would like

Tim, where did you get your nubians? I read up on the Nigerian Dwarf and I like the sound of that, too. Can you have both kinds together? Is your ND lactating? I think I may need to read up on goats a little more.

I got my females from Fruitland(outside of Humboldt) Donnie Cook. He has boar/Nubian mix. My registered Nubian billy came from up around Paris. After several years of breeding, the boar has been bred out. I now only have the last generation nannies left now. I'll have to find another billy to breed them. I'm not gonna sell any right now. I bottle raised them and don't have the heart to sell them.

I understand, completely. I have been advised by an exert to slow down and search for what is right for me. Good advice.
