Hello all. I was searching for coop plans and found my way here - very happy I did. I just purchased 5 straight run Black Australorps from TSC on 2/24 and have been having the most fun finding out about the breed and chickens in general. I live in Crockett Co. and work in Jackson so travel the roads a lot. I think I have 4 pullets and one roo out of 5 or the other way around. One had a clogged vent when I got it, but is much better now - thanks to the Internet. The one I think is a roo has a much longer tail, but smaller comb so could go either way. I'm going to try to make the sale Saturday to see what the club is all about. Hope to meet many of you then. Attachments:

WELCOME, KRISPYTN. Glad you are here...you can use a soft paper towel that has been soaked in warm water and gently soak the vent area till it loosens up and then it will come off. Do not pull it off as this could cause some damage to the vent area for sure. Hope to meet you tomorrow at the meet...look for the GARDEN DADDY sign!
