two more dead birds. One yesterday afternoon when I got home, one this morning just under the first house in back yard. Something is going on but don't know what it is. Neither bird was chewed up or damaged in any way. Sad and scared at this point. These two make a total of 16 dead in two weeks. I have to get my camera hooked up this week end

I had a roo that ate a mushroom and it killed him. With the rain lately have you seen any mushrooms growing anywhere? Just a thought. Ever since my roo died I make sure if I see any mushrooms I get rid of them asap. I don't know how to identify bad ones so they all go.

Other than contminated feed that's the only other ting I could think of that would make one drop dead like that. We had a very bad mouse problem and I was having to throw away alot of feed to keep the chickens from eating any. I don't know if that will make any just drop dead but I would think it would make them very sick before they did die.

Give me a call if you want me to come over and just look at the flock.
