Richie,
My little banty Rooster had something similer. He had gunk in the eye and a death rattle in the lungs. I thought he was a goner. I went to TSC and got Duramycin-10. I believe it's a utility antibiotic. It worked But there might be something better that I don't know about. I hope this helps.

Herbs right, tylan is pretty good stuff if you don't mind giving injections. But it sounds like you have a pretty bad infection going on and probably need to give an injection. Ultimate fowl Wikipedia has pretty good instructions on dosage. But I'm sure herb could tell you as well. I think its 1/2 cc for three days under the skin for standards and 1/4 cc for banty. But check that. Cleared up my girls problem back in august.
