Just wanted to announce the birth of 14 healthy baby's. Six French Copper Marans, hoping for a white Orpington and a couple americans. About six eggs did not hatch one was crushed in the nest, must have been momma and one was born weird and died after a struggle of a couple days. All are doing well up and outside with the mom. I just took all the healthy ones inside and went out at night stuffed them under her said a prayer and they were accepted immediately. I was very upset though cuzz I had bought some black Orpingtons and none of them hatched. When I wrote the woman she just ignored me. (poor form). Does any one have some black Orpingtons?

Would you take 2 1-year old laying Black Australorps? I had posted their picture a few weeks ago that I would be selling at the next swap. They are laying still, even in this heat. Are pretty easy going and almost pet like. Have already molted this spring and have regrown their feathers, etc. Let me know if you are interested.
Good luck with your other hatches & hatchlings...
Mike

I'm working on getting girls for my black orph roo. I have 3 (hopefully) outside in the juvi pen and 3 inside that j'm not sure of the sex. Are you looking for pullets or cockereals or does it matter? Attachments:

I would really like both. I had six eggs and none hatched. Maybe we can collaborate if you are open. Thanks so much. They are my favorite breed.

I'm sure I have an older cockereal and I can let a pullet go also. I just want to keep 3 pullets for my poor bachelor roo. He is impatiently awaiting his new girlfriends to grow up. I also have a pair that have feathered legs that I plan to keep for now anyway. I need to do a head count to see exactly how many I can sell. I'll get back with you on a number.
