Here is his main squeeze hot on his trail. She is the dominate hen of all of them. She follows the roo everywhere and dont like him spending time with the other ladies. Attachments:

How beautiful. I"ve always loved a white phoenix. I had a silver duck wing and a hen. I hatched out a couple pairs of their offspring but don't have them anymore. Now that we will have more space I may get me a white roo one day.

He's certainly a looker, can't blame the girls for getting jealous. Have you tried selling any yet? We talked about raising phoenix just because they're so beautiful but weren't sure how they'd sell and they are a little smaller than we wanted for meat

They wouldn't be much for meat unless it was just for a couple of people but they are so beautiful.

Thanks! I'll most likely sell chicks in the spring. I really just got them for myself and dont plan on eating any. But I'll sell chicks to help keep them fed.

Looking good Tim. The standard phoenix are ok for meat sizewise.

one of my Phoenix hens have gone broody on 6 eggs. Hope she does a good job. She's got her own food and water put in the coop with her so she doesnt deprive herself of the good stuff.
